The responsibilities are to provide support for store systems primarily the Point of Sale for 180 stores across Canada.

 

The following functions are:

  • Level 1, Level 2 support for:
    • POS Systems (technical, hardware, operational)
    • Telecommunications environment
    • Wireless environment
    • Traffic counting
  • Monitoring of store polling and file transfer process
  • Assist with new store openings and store relocations concerning store systems, Telecom equipment, phone and data lines
  • Assist with the preparation and staging of the POS equipment for new stores
  • Log all activities pertaining to support and ensure follow ups on all open tickets on a daily basis
  • Accomplish any other tasks requested by the Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of POS and store systems environment
  • Knowledge of telecommunications environment
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Advance PC skills
  • Knowledge Microsoft Windows OS and software
  • Past help desk experience
  • Bilingualism (English & French)
  • Shift work is required (weeknights, weekends)
